Michael Barrell - Managing Partner

Mike has over 20 years experience in the IT & T business, and prior to starting MBR Partners, had 14 years of fast track career within IBM. In this time he progressed from closing $100m of business with Telecom New Zealand in his early career, through to setting up and running a team across EMEA which drove $200m plus of annual revenue with the Telecom market space. His IBM experience also included several multibillion dollar outsourcing deals.

Because of this background Mike can relate to the business objectives of the MBR Partners clients and tries to place himself in the position of the client when looking for the best solution to a growth challenge. He sees MBR Partners as a great vehicle to share the challenge and success of helping to grow numerous companies across Europe and in Asia.

Mike was born in Wellington New Zealand and moved to Europe in the early 90’s. When not attending a conference or meeting clients he can be found either in the French or London offices of MBR Partners.
